In considering a name and a logo for the group, I felt that the great weather, a vibrant multi-cultural population, proximity to the beautiful ocean, and the popularity of trendy sushi restaurants represent all the good things about living in Southern California. ”So Cal Sushi” and it’s logo (complete with sun, ocean, surfboard, Chinese characters, and a piece of sushi) is a perfect manifestation of this.
